“Head in the Clouds” Mural at 4568 Kingsway (and McKay), Burnaby, BC (2024)
Commissioned by Sleep Country and City of Burnaby
With Support From: Jake Steiner

“Head in the Clouds” depicts people looking up to the sky, watching the passing clouds and getting lost in thought. It serves as an expansive visual reminder to pause, rest and reflect amidst the hurried nature of our culture. The abundant wildflowers and blooming trees remind us that there is beauty all around us if we are willing, and present to notice it. While a logistically challenging project with uneven ground levels, power lines and the massive wall size, it is confidently one of my favourite murals I have done to date!
