This activation was created to bring the downtown YVR community together in a fun, bright and engaging way at the Bentall Centre this Lunar New Year.

In cooperation with GOODWORK Studio Inc., I conceptualized and illustrated different tiles, inspired by some of the many Lunar New Year traditions that families and communities around the world celebrate.

I chose to use various shades of red — a colour that symbolizes joy and good fortune — to evoke feelings of nostalgia, hope and togetherness. The various illustrations on the tiles also represent the important values of generosity, harmony and connection that all of us can resonate with.
